(shiva) is the opening track to Kasabian’s fifth album, 48:13. In January 2013, Serge Pizzorno created a piece of music for artist Aitor Throup, to accompany one of his fashion shows. This seven minute piece of music eventually was shortened to become (shiva).
The track was used extensively throughout the 48:13 tour as the band’s walk-on track, before performing bumblebeee.

In January 2013, Serge Pizzorno created a piece of music for artist Aitor Throup, to accompany his fashion show at Dover Street Market, known as New Object Research. This seven minute piece of music was released on Aitor Throup’s YouTube Channel in the video Aitor Throup x Dover Street Market on 5 January 2013.
