Nobody Else is the seventh track on THE S.L.P. and was one of four songs released ahead of Sergio Pizzorno’s debut solo album.
The official music video was released on 24 July 2019 and was directed by Jamie Whitby.
Serge described the musical idea behind Nobody Else as “Marvin Gaye in Ibiza”. He had been experimenting with jazz-influenced chords and wanted to make something lighter and more openly feel-good than the music he would normally write for Kasabian.
The song was also influenced by the energy of Stardust’s 1998 French house track Music Sounds Better With You, combining piano-led songwriting with a dance-oriented production.
