Info:
The Warrior was recorded as an acoustic demo during Saracuse’s third studio session at Bedrock Studios in Leicester in 1999.
In Sound, Movement and Empire, Joe Shooman describes the song as a tribute to John Lennon and Yoko Ono combined with a distinctly Jamaican-influenced chorus.
The unusual combination is an example of the experimentation taking place as Saracuse began moving beyond the conventional Britpop and indie rock influences which had dominated their earliest recordings.
No recording of the track is known to have surfaced.
