You Won’t Forget Me was recorded as a full-band track during Saracuse’s third studio session at Bedrock Studios in Leicester in 1999.

According to Sound, Movement and Empire, the song was the full-band version of an earlier acoustic track titled Waiting For You Now.

The track was recorded during a period in which much of Saracuse’s songwriting dealt with relationships, uncertainty, lost love and the search for direction.

The later appearance of another track titled Wait For You Now during the September 2000 Bedrock session makes the precise relationship between the recordings unclear.

No recording of You Won’t Forget Me is known to have surfaced.
