Info:
Pump It Up was recorded as a full-band track during Saracuse’s third studio session at Bedrock Studios in Leicester in 1999.
In Sound, Movement and Empire, Joe Shooman describes the recording as a rock track featuring distorted vocals. Despite sharing its title with the Elvis Costello song Pump It Up, the Saracuse track is unrelated.
The recording was made during a period in which the band were becoming increasingly confident as musicians, with producer Scott Gilbert recalling that Saracuse had developed into a noticeably tight live unit.
No recording of the track is known to have surfaced.
