Shine On was one of four tracks recorded during Saracuse’s first known studio session at Bedrock Studios in December 1998.

The acoustic-based track is described in Sound, Movement and Empire as an anthemic call to arms which displayed the strong influence Oasis had on Saracuse’s earliest material, particularly the sound of the Be Here Now period.

Shine On was recorded alongside What’s Going On, Interlude and Life Of Luxury as part of the band’s first studio demo.

The song subsequently appeared on at least two later self-released Saracuse demo CDrs, suggesting that it remained part of the band’s circulating demo material after the original recording session.

No recording of the track is known to have surfaced.
