Get Around was recorded by Saracuse during their third studio session at Bedrock Studios in Leicester in 1999.

The song was recorded as a full-band track and is described in Sound, Movement and Empire as an indie rock song about not wanting to become tied down in a relationship. The recording dates from a period in which Saracuse were still heavily influenced by bands including Oasis, Stereophonics and The Beatles.

Get Around was also circulated on a self-released four-track Saracuse demo CDr alongside Carry Me Home, Shine On and Charlie.
