Keep It Safe was recorded as an acoustic demo during Saracuse’s third studio session at Bedrock Studios in Leicester in 1999.

The track formed part of a series of acoustic recordings made during the session alongside Come Back Down, Just Relax, Sniffing Glue, The Federation and The Warrior.

Scott Gilbert recalled that the acoustic recordings made during these sessions often captured Serge Pizzorno working through songs and ideas while the band were still developing their musical identity.

No recording of the track is known to have surfaced.
